Q. Do I have to use PayPal to pay for Search Smart?  I don't have a PayPal account.

A. No, you don't have to use PayPal.  Once you are taken to the PayPal screen, you'll see you have an option to use a credit or debit card if you like.

Q. I completed my Diagnostic and reviewed my report a few days ago, but forgot to save it. How can I review it again?

A. Just go to www.jobsearchdx.com and log in, then click on MyDx, then My Report.  

Q. What does Dx stand for?

A. Dx is the medical abbreviation for "diagnosis". This is the basic philosophy behind our work - understand first what is needed based on an individual's unique situation, and then provide personalized advice.

Q. Can I take the Diagnostic more than once and see how I have improved?

A. Yes; after completing the Diagnostic and working on your Action Plan for some period, you might indeed find it helpful to take the Diagnostic again.  

Q. How do I use the Diagnostic with a job search or career coach?

A. This is a great way to leverage your time (and money) with a coach. Provide of a copy of your report to your coach and review it with him or her - discuss the results and how your coach can help you develop an Action Plan.

Q. Will the Job Search Diagnostic tell me what type of work I should do - or what career path I should pursue?

A. No. There are many assessments and tools to help you understand your interests and potential career directions. The Diagnostic focuses on the effectiveness of your job search - i.e. what you need to do to land a new job.

Q. I'm currently employed and not active in a job search. Is this still worthwhile?

A. Absolutely. While the Diagnostic was designed specifically with the unemployed professional in mind, many individuals who are currently employed but are considering making a move, have found this resource very helpful.

Q. I've misplaced my Diagnostic report. Can you help?

A. Sure.  Once you've completed the Diagnostic, you can always locate your report by clicking MyDx on the Main Menu and selecting the "View my Report" tab.

Q. Can you refer me to a job search coach and other resources to help me with the areas that were identified as priorities in my Diagnostic?
